What’s Statelessness ?
Statelessness refers to a legal condition in which an individual is not considered a national or citizen by any sovereign state under the operation of its laws. Functionally, it leaves a person without the legal bond of nationality that guarantees fundamental human rights, legal identity, and state protection. This status places millions of people globally in a state of legal invisibility, denying them access to essential civil, social, and political rights.
Our Aim
We aim to empower lived Experience voices, and to center their leadership and experts in driving the efforts of the eradication of statelessness, the achievement of equal nationality rights, and the realization of human rights of all stateless people.
